What is it?

For those wanting to address the signs of ageing, including fine lines and wrinkles and skin sagging, can also be used for people looking to smooth texture and improve the appearance of acne scarring. With the inclusion of mesotherapy the ability to enhance the skin and improve concerns can often be achieved with less downtime and treatments and is great for those wanting faster targeted results.
Contraindications
Pregnancy or breast feeding, Roaccutane within 12 months and people with active cold sores.
How does it work?
Personalise selection of effective active ingredients are cocktailed together and then applied to the skin liberally. Once applied the serum is micro needled into the skin to assist with deep penetration. Products are then able to assist with skin remodelling to improve skin tone irregularities, unify skin colouration, brighten appearance, define and tighten areas or treat specific concerns.
How does it feel?
Microneedling sounds more painful than it actually is, I promise!
The sensation is often described as a warm, tight and slightly scratchy feeling but always worth the results.
Pre-care & Aftercare
At first your skin will appear a little bit red – similar to a sun burn, but in will return to normal the day or 2 after. During the first 3 days of treatment, it is essential to use home care products that support the repairing of your skin. After day 5 post treatment, your skin should appear brighter and more radiant with a smoother complexion, at this time you may feel some dryness still. The results of this treatment and the stimulation of collagen doesn’t happen instantly; it occurs over weeks and months even after treatments are finished.
Downtime
The downtime of skin needling it is recommended that the first 24 hours of treatment no direct sunlight, physical activity or makeup be applied to the skin. After 24 hours skin may still have some redness and dryness, but you can still continue to go about your day-to-day routine with mindfulness about taking care of the skin to ensure healing. With the use of mesotherapy, we find that skin repairs much faster with less of redness and dryness.
